Flu Clinics

Invitation letters will not be sent out to all patients in the first instance. Please book your appointment with Reception. If you are not able to attend one of these dates please contact Reception nearer the time so we can make an alternative appointment for you with one of our Practice Nurses.

Flu vaccinations are offered to all patients who are:

• over 65 years
• under 65 years and suffer from certain conditions, including
  • Chronic Respiratory Disease
  • Asthma (requiring continuous or repeated use of inhaled medication or tablets)
  • Diabetes (requiring insulin or oral hypoglycaemic drugs)
  • Chronic Heart, Kidney or Liver Disease
• A pregnant women
• Have lowered  immunity due to disease or treatment such as steroid medication or cancer treatment
• Have any other serious medical condition
• living in an older people's home or nursing home
• a health and social care worker who has direct contact with patients
• a carer of an ‘at risk’ patient
